Abstract

Electric vehicles have been used in the world since the 1880s. Electric vehicles competing with gasoline-fueled vehicles in the early days were withdrawn from the market after gasoline vehicles had been mass-produced and sold at very low prices. In the 1990s, due to the harmful effects of fossil fuels on the environment, these tools have come to the agenda again. Both the conventional fossil fuel engine and the electric motor (battery) for vehicles that contain the international literature "hybrid vehicle" is called. Although this name has been widely used for these vehicles, which have started to be used in recent years in our country, in some places the word başlayan hybrid vehicle isim is preferred by using the word in Turkish.
